Is QuietPaw safe to give every day?

Yes. Every active is at a daily-use safe dose vetted by our DVM advisors. There are no steroids, no isoxazolines, and nothing that builds up toxicity over time. Most owners stay on it long-term as a maintenance protocol.

Can I give it alongside Apoquel or Cytopoint?

Yes. QuietPaw works through different pathways than Apoquel (JAK inhibitor) and Cytopoint (anti-IL-31 antibody). Many owners use QuietPaw alongside an Rx and gradually taper off the prescription with their vet's guidance.

How long until I see a change?

Most owners report noticeably less night-scratching by week 2 and visibly less paw licking by week 4-6. The 90-day mark is when seasonal triggers stop flaring. Consistency matters more than dosage.

My dog has food allergies. Will the chews trigger them?

The chew base is naturally beef-flavored with no corn, soy, wheat, or artificial colors. It is not hypoallergenic by definition, so if your dog has a confirmed beef allergy, contact us before ordering. Most dogs with environmental or seasonal triggers tolerate it fine.

Are the chews safe for puppies and senior dogs?

Safe for dogs 12 weeks and older. Senior dogs in particular tend to respond well because the omega-3 and turmeric also support joint comfort. Adjust the chew count by current body weight (1 chew under 25 lbs, 2 chews 25-75 lbs, 3 chews 75+).

How is it different from regular skin-and-coat chews?

Most skin-and-coat products are fish oil plus a multivitamin. QuietPaw specifically pairs anti-histamine botanicals (calendula, aloe) with omega correctives (krill, borage GLA) and an antioxidant (turmeric). It addresses three pathways of the itch cascade, not one.

How long does one pendant actually last?

Twelve months under normal outdoor wear, including swimming, rain, and rolling in mud. We've aging-tested 240 pendants under simulated daily-walk conditions; median active life is 380 days. Replace at the 12-month mark to stay on the safe side.

Is it safe with my dog's existing flea medication?

Yes. The pendant is external-only (essential oils diffusing in the air around the collar) and does not interact with topical drops, oral chewables, or prescription medications. Many owners use it to taper off chemical preventives over a 30-60 day overlap.

Will my dog have an allergic reaction to essential oils?

The blend is at diffusion-only concentrations and the oils never touch the skin directly, the capsule releases them into the air around the collar. A small minority of dogs scratch the area for the first 48 hours while adjusting; this typically settles. If irritation persists past 72 hours, return for a full refund.

Can it get wet?

Yes, fully waterproof. The capsule housing is sealed against water ingress and the SmartRelease membrane releases steadily whether wet or dry. Lake swims, beach trips, and rainy hikes are fine.

My dog lost the pendant. Now what?

Do I need a prescription for any Pawley product?

No. Every Pawley product is over-the-counter and delivered directly to you. We do encourage owners to keep their vet looped in, especially when adjusting any prescription medication.

Are Pawley products tested on animals?

Not in the harm-them sense. Every product goes through a voluntary tasting and tolerability panel with our staff dogs and a small group of customer dogs whose owners opt in. No lab testing, no captive subjects.

Can I use Pawley products with my cat?

QuietPaw is formulated specifically for canine physiology and is not recommended for cats. The pendant has a separate cat-formulation version using cat-safe essential oil ratios; sign up at pawley.com/cat-pendant for the waitlist.

What about my pregnant or nursing dog?

Talk to your vet first. We do not have specific safety data for pregnant or nursing dogs, and we'd rather you get a personal-vet sign-off than rely on a generic FAQ answer.

How fast does Pawley ship?

Orders placed before 2pm ET ship the same day. Standard delivery is 3-6 business days within the continental US.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, on the 2-jar and 3-jar QuietPaw packs and the 2-pendant and 4-pendant pendant packs. Single-unit orders include shipping at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?
